It wasn't just the chance to become featherweight champion again that José Aldo lost at UFC 218. After being defeated again by Max Holloway and, again by knockout, the Brazilian lost his place in the weight-for-pound ranking organized by the company. Ultimate released, this Wednesday, the rankings for all categories and also counting all the athletes and, for the first time, Aldo left the list of the 15 best regardless of divisions. Even so, the former champion maintained first place in the featherweight rankings, as Holloway, as champion, is not part of that list.

As a result, Brazil only has two representatives on the list: the champions Chris Cyborg, featherweight and Amanda nunes, of the roosters. They are in 10th and 12th, respectively.
