Venezuelan Maximo Blanco is another Latin athlete signed by the UFC. Even coming off a defeat in the last Strikeforce, when he was submitted by Pat Healy, Blanco will move down to the featherweight division to be part of the roster of fighters of the biggest MMA organization in the world.

Despite Blanco's confirmation on the UFC fighter roster, there is still no scheduled date or opponents for his debut in the organization.
