The Cameroonian Francis Ngannou achieved, at UFC 218 last Saturday (2), the biggest victory of his career by erasing the former Strikeforce champion alistair overeem with a brutal knockout in the first round. And he impressed Ultimate's president, Dana White, who guarantees that Ngannou will be the organization's next global star.

In a press conference after the event, White was full of praise for the Cameroonian and admitted his support for him, as Ngannou had been training and living at the new UFC Training Center, which means that the two became neighbors, as the office of the president is in the same complex.

“First of all, when you look at Francis, it's clear that we're looking at a heavyweight champion. He looks like the heavyweight champion of something. The guy is a monster. He was incredible tonight. This is one of the most impressive knockouts in the heavyweight division. He's next for Miocic. He was in great shape, obviously, we saw everything because he trained at the UFC complex and we became neighbors,” said Dana, who admitted having had difficulties finding opponents for Ngannou.

“We've been having trouble getting him a fight. But as soon as we can keep this guy active, people will see him doing what he did with Overeem against other great athletes and he will become a global rock star, for sure,” he declared.
