Josh Banett earns Strikeforce's biggest salary

Even though they were defeated, Antonio Pezão earned US$100 and Roger Gracie won US$80

North-American Josh Barnett took no notice of Sergei Kharitonov and submitted the Russian athlete in the first round at Strikeforce, an event held last Saturday in Cincinnati. In addition to securing a place in the final of the organization's heavyweight GP, the veteran fighter earned the biggest salary on the show.

The Ohio State Athletic Commission, the entity that sanctioned the show, disclosed the scholarships paid to the fighters, and Barnett received US$150, approximately R$255, for the performance. Among the Brazilians on the show, even though they were defeated in their fights, Antonio Pezão earned US$100 thousand and Roger gracie pocketed US$80.
