After the victory over Marcin tybura at UFC Australia last Saturday (18), Fabricio Werdum talked about the fight with Colby covington, who reported him to the local police after the Brazilian threw a boomerang in his direction. The former champion denied that he had any intention of hurting the American and fired at “Chaos” for reporting the incident.

In a press conference after the event, the Brazilian reported what actually happened in the meeting with Covington and regretted the North American's stance.

PUBLICITY:

“I said to my trainer: 'Let's go get a haircut.' When I left, Colby looked at me and said: 'Brazilians are animals'. I didn't believe it, I slapped his cell phone, and he kicked me (…) He said a lot of things about my mother and my country. I threw the boomerang, which hit him in the shoulder, it was nothing. How does a fighter go to the police for that? Did he go to the police for that? It's crazy. He’s like… I don’t want to say that word, but he’s like a b***h”, reported the former champion.

Werdum will have to return to Australia in December to appear in front of a minor claims court and explain what happened to Covington. The Brazilian said he was unconcerned and assured that he will use the mandatory trip for a vacation with his family.

PUBLICITY:

“Man, I loved Australia. I said I wanted to return with my family and now I'm going to take advantage and bring my wife and daughters to see the country, for sure. I'll just explain what happened to the judge and that's it. I know I’m right, I know I’m correct,” she explained.
