Nick Diaz returns to the UFC 137 card and faces BJ Penn

Dana White confirms fight and says: “This is crazy, but here we go again”

Nick Diaz was removed from the UFC 137 fight program for not attending the show's press conference this Wednesday (7). The absence left Dana White, president of the organization, irritated and the fighter, who would fight for the welterweight belt against Georges St Pierre, was replaced by Carlos Condit. But this Thursday a new twist marked the event and Nick Diaz is back on the card.

The confirmation was made by Dana White himself via Twitter. The director announced that Diaz will face the former champion B.J. Penn, who was originally scheduled to face Condit at the same event.

“This is crazy, but here we go again! You wanted it, you got it: (BJ) Penn against (Nick) Diaz, October 27th, in Las Vegas”, wrote the manager on the microblog.
