Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones has remained in seclusion until a definitive decision is made on his new doping case. "Great job, Fabricio Werdum. I despise racism. The guy even had the audacity to call you a v… while he was doing a live broadcast on Facebook,” Jones declared on Twitter.

After Covington criticized Jones, saying he was supporting “aggression”, the former champion went even further and said the welterweight was “sad” and saying that “Chaos” made him even more famous, after using his name in provocations in recent weeks – Covington had already said that Jones was an “addict” and that he cheated on his wife all the time. The two met in college.

“In fact, I have used your name in interviews about an imaginary two-year relationship in college. In the end, I think you're sad. I can't imagine carrying that kind of animosity in my heart. Thanks, brother, you just made me more famous. I understand that you want more followers on social media, there is nothing wrong with that. Your anger and envy towards me are clear as day, but the strange thing is that I don't even know what I did to you. I haven't seen him in about 11 years. You're making a lot of enemies, brother. Good luck to you”, said Jones, through a series of Tweets directed at Covington.
