The UFC 220 card, an event that will take place on January 20th, in Boston (USA), has gained another Brazilian representative. After Thomas almeida, Gleison Tibau and Alexandre pantoja to be confirmed from the show, it was the turn of Francimar Bodão from Acre, who measures forces with Gian Villante in a duel valid for the light heavyweight category (up to 93kg). The information was given first-hand by Ultimate employees in the “Boston Globe” newspaper.

Bodão, 37 years old, has already had eight fights in Ultimate, recording four wins, three losses and one no contest. His most recent performance was in September this year, when he was defeated by newcomer Aleksandar Rakić at UFC Netherlands. In total, the Brazilian has accumulated 19 positive results, six negative results and one no contest in his record.
Gillante, in turn, is also looking for a recovery after suffering two consecutive defeats against Patrick Cummins, last July, and Mauritius Shogun, who knocked him out at UFC Fortaleza, in March. At 32 years old, the fighter has accumulated ups and downs in the franchise, with five positive results and six negative results. His professional record has 15 wins and nine losses.
