The UFC 220 card, an event that will take place on January 20th, in Boston (USA), has gained another Brazilian representative. After Thomas almeida and Gleison Tibau were confirmed for the show, it was the carioca's turn Alexandre pantoja, who faces Dustin Ortiz in a duel valid for the flyweight category (up to 56kg). The information was given first-hand by Ultimate employees in the “Boston Globe” newspaper.

Semi-finalist of TUF 24, Pantoja had two fights in the UFC, winning two victories that placed him in 12th place in the 56kg ranking. His debut was in January of this year, beating Eric Shelton by points. He then submitted Neil Seery at UFC Glasgow in July. At 27 years old, the Nova União athlete has a record of 18 wins and two losses.
Ortiz, in turn, is much more experienced in the Ultimate Octagon. In the organization since 2013, the North American, who is 9th in the ranking, has already had 11 fights, accumulating six positive results and five negative results. A year older than the Brazilian, he has 17 triumphs and seven setbacks as a professional.
