Without stepping into the octagon since December 2016, Sage Northcutt is preparing to return to the octagon next Saturday (11), when he faces Michel Quinones in the UFC Norfolk. However, anyone who thinks that the lightweight's focus is only on his career as a fighter is mistaken. In an interview with the program 'MMA Hour', Super, as he is known, revealed that he auditioned to participate in the boxing film 'Creed 2 – Born to Fight', starring and directed by movie star Sylvester Stallone, with the participation of the also famous actor Dolph Lundgren.

“The new movie 'Creed 2' is coming out and I auditioned. I sent a recording, so I'm looking forward to entering. It would be really cool. Being Ivan Drago's son in the film? It would be incredible. I changed my hair to look more similar, to be in the audition. It would be really cool. Sylvester Stallone is a really cool guy, as is Dolph Lundgren, who is an amazing guy. I think Dolph and I look a little alike. I have some friends and they were talking to me who convinced me to do this. And a few more people, like Mr. Faber, spoke too. So, it's really cool to have this chance. I have no idea when the results will come out, so now I'm focused on my fight for the next few days and I hope to get the results soon,” said Northcutt.
At 21 years old, Sage is still beginning his journey in MMA. In the UFC there are five fights, accumulating three wins and two losses. His most recent performance was last December, when he was finished by Mickey gall at UFC Sacramento. In total, his record has eight positive results and two negative results.
