Suspended for doping and without fighting for almost two years, lightweight Gleison Tibau finally has an official date to return to the Octagon. He faces the Russian Islam makhachev at UFC 220, January 20th, in Boston, United States. The information was given first-hand on the 'Combate' channel website.

Gleison Tibau, 34 years old, has been in the UFC since 2006, with 16 positive results and 10 negative results. His last duel was in UFC Sao Paulo 2015, when he submitted Abel Trujillo in the first round, but saw his triumph reversed after being caught doping.

Makhachev, in turn, is going through a good moment in his career, having won his last two fights, the most recent in February this year, when he dominated the experienced Nik lentz. At 26 years old, the Russian has 14 victories and only one setback in his career, when he was knocked out by Brazilian Adriano Martins.
