Júnior Assunção agrees to return to UFC

Brazilian Junior Assunção is back in the UFC. After leaving the organization in 2007, the fighter agreed to return to the biggest MMA event in the world and already has a date for his return.
The Brazilian athlete, who is the brother of Raphael Assunção who won Johnny Eduardo at UFC Rio, he will face Eddie Yagin at UFC 135, an event that takes place on September 24, in Denver, in the United States.

Junior, 30 years old, has a professional record of 12 wins and four losses. The Brazilian is on a streak of six consecutive victories, the last being over Wesley Murch in the fourth edition of the Recife Fighting Championship, held in March this year. In turn, Yagin has a record of 15 wins and four losses. The Hawaiian, who left the Tachi Palace belt to sign with the UFC, is coming off a victory over Joe Soto at TFC 10, held in August.
