The devastating knockout of Paulo borrachinha about Johnny Hendricks at UFC 217, held last Saturday (04), in New York (USA), impressed Dana White, president of Ultimate. At the press conference after the event, the boss praised the Brazilian's performance and was full of praise, even stating that the athlete from Minas Gerais will be the next star in the middleweight category (up to 84kg).

“This guy, Costa, f***ing sh*t! That was another f***ing moment of the night. What's crazy is, when you look at a guy who has the physique he has, he has so much muscle, but he never slows down. No matter how hard the punches are thrown, no matter what's going on, or how crazy the fight is, this guy keeps the same pace the entire time. I think this kid is going to be a star, and he’s going to be a force in this division,” he declared.

The victory over John hendricks was the third of Paulo borrachinha in the UFC. He debuted in the house this year after a solid career on the national scene and an uneventful stint on TUF Brasil. In his first UFC fight, in March, he knocked out Garreth McLellan in the first round of UFC Fortaleza. Almost three months later, the Brazilian returned to the octagon, again at home, at UFC 212, in Rio de Janeiro. On that occasion, he beat Oluwale Bamgbose by knockout again, but in the second round. At 26 years old, he won 11 professional fights, 10 of which by knockout and one by submission.
