The black belt Thiago tavares shone at UFC Rio, an event that took place last Saturday (27), in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. After knocking out American Spencer Fisher, the Brazilian received tributes in Florianópolis, his hometown.

An Avaí fan, the fighter was honored by the club this Wednesday (31), when the team from Santa Catarina faced Flamengo in the first round of the second round of the Brazilian Championship.

Thiaguinho received a personalized shirt and was applauded by the public with shouts of tribute to the fighter. The black belt was also lucky for his club, as Avaí defeated Ronaldinho Gaúcho's Flamengo 3-2.
