Former UFC champion, Andrei Arlovski made peace with victory this weekend. After suffering four consecutive defeats and not feeling the taste of triumph since 2008, the Belarusian faced the unknown Ray Lopez and knocked out his opponent in the third round. The duel was the main attraction of the return of ProElite, the organization that held EliteXC and had declared bankruptcy in 2008.
The ProElite fight program also featured other well-known names from the international scene: ex-UFC Kendall Grove submitted veteran Joe Riggs before the first minute of the duel, while Reagan Penn, brother of the beast B.J. Penn, debuted with victory in MMA by defeating Paul Gardiner, ending the fight with a rear naked choke in the first round
