Shortly after UFC Rio, the show's organizers announced the bonus prizes for the event held this Saturday (27), at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. After the big presentation in front of Brendan Schaub, Rodrigo Minotauro won the award for best knockout of the night. The Brazilian athlete received an extra prize of US$100, the second largest bonus in UFC history.

In addition to Minotauro, the carioca Edson Barboza and Englishman Ross Pearson win the award for best fight of the night. As there were no submissions in the fight program, no athlete received the bonus
