The Shooto Brasil organization announced the first fights on the official card of the sixth edition of the event, which will take place on April 19th, at the Upper gym in Rio de Janeiro. The show will have eight fights, including the under-70kg belt fight between Willamy Chiquerim and Geovani Diniz. For those who are used to seeing 12 fights on the card, the president of Shooto in Brazil, André Pederneiras, explained the reason for reducing the number of fights.
“This time we are spending a lot on making the belt and we also brought a lot of people from outside to have strong names on the card, which is why we will only have eight fights at this event,” said Pederneiras

Class A:
– Jadyson Costa (Hikari) will face Danilo Cherman (Nova União);
– Sérgio Jr. (Hikari) will face Igor Chatubinha (RFT);
– Hernani (Nova União) will face André Terere (Nocaute Fight);
– Ralph Loren will face (RFT) will face Aquiles (Nova União);
Class C (with protection):
– Caio Conceição (NG Combat) will face Moranguinho (Nova União);
Belt dispute up to 70kg:
Willamy Chiquerim (Nocaute Fight) will face Geovani Diniz (Nobre Arte/ Nova União).
