“Actually, I ask to fight anywhere, I'm at the UFC's disposal to fight whether here in Brazil or abroad, but I like fighting here in Brazil, the warmth of the Brazilian people, they really like me. (…) I think I'm a real fighter, a Brazilian fighter. And it won't be any different, I'm going to go in there and do what no one has ever done with the Jim Miller. I’m going to put up a good fight, fight back and bring victory to us… and I’m going to give this joy to my fans,” he declared. massaranduba in an exclusive interview with SUPER FIGHTS.

Against veteran Miller, who boasts an impressive 25 fights in the UFC, massaranduba admits that any mistake could cost him the victory. With his usual simple and spontaneous manner, the Thai Evolution athlete already imagined the ideal outcome for the fight: knocking out the North American.

“I trained the three areas: standing, on the ground and I trained my head a lot so I didn't lose focus. My focus is to get there and beat the Jim Miller on the ground and in striking, so I'm focused on both sides. (…) I wanted to put him on the ground and knock him out, give him a blow and he would hang up. But as I always say to my training friends: 'On the other side there is someone who also trained, they will be well prepared'. I hope he has trained hard so we can have a good fight”, said the fighter, who said he had someone new in mind to challenge, but preferred not to reveal it in advance.
