Although he did not officially debut in the new category due to a series of injuries, paige vanzant seems excited about the change. A former strawweight fighter, the American admitted that the weight cut almost killed her and posted a semi-nude photo to explain how brutal it was to lose the pounds to fight among the strawweight girls. She had previously said that she had fainted during a weight loss session. Shortly after posting, the American deleted the photo above, but it was recovered by the website TMZ.

Through her Instagram, the UFC muse, who has seven wins and three losses in her career, posted a photo in which she is lying down, wearing just her bikini bottoms and using her hands to cover her breasts, while she appears to be exhausted by account of the weight cut. The caption explains PVZ's moment.
"Never. 57 kg is my division. I will take control (…) 52 kg, Paige? Is not nobody got time for that. Can't wait to shred at 125 pounds! Who agrees?”, declared the American, supported by her followers, some of whom did not fail to praise the fighter's form.
VanZant would make his flyweight debut against Jessica Eye at UFC 216. However, she was forced to leave the fight after discovering a spinal injury. Soon after, other problems were discovered by doctors and the American is no longer expected to fight in 2017.
