Another fighter well known to the Brazilian public has signed a contract with the Brave Combat Federation. This is veteran Gesias Cavalcante, who already has a date, place and opponent set to debut in his new home. He faces ex-UFC Alan Omer at Brave 9, on November 17th, in Bahrain, in a duel valid in the lightweight category. The information was given first-hand on the 'Combate' channel website.

One of the founders of the Blackzilian team, Gestas, aged 34, has spent time in events such as Strikeforce, WSOF, K-1 and was recently playing for Titan FC, the franchise in which he won the lightweight belt. With victories on their CV over names like Rani Yaya, Bobby Green and Pat Healy, the Brazilian has a record with 21 wins, 10 defeats, one draw and two unsuccessful fights.
Omer, 29 years old, had a bad time in the UFC. He lost the two fights he had in the organization: he was defeated on points by Jim Alers and submitted by arnold allen. In total, there are 20 positive results and five negative results as a professional.
The main fight of Brave 9 will feature another Brazilian in the spotlight. The former UFC lucas mineiro, an athlete from Chute Boxe São Paulo, competes for the featherweight belt against champion Elias Boudegzdame. Two more Brazilian athletes are confirmed for the show. Lightweight Erick Índio Brabo, a participant in TUF Brasil 4, faces Abdul-Kareem Al Selwady, and Felipe Efrain faces Arnold Quero.
