After debuting in Ultimate with the right foot, with a stunning knockout over Brazilian Henrique Frankenstein, in September this year, light heavyweight Gokhan Saki already has a date, opponent and place to decide to return to the octagon. He faces North American Kahlil Rountree Jr at UFC 219, on December 30, in Las Vegas (USA).

Kickboxing legend and former Glory champion, Saki has only two professional MMA fights. Before beating Frankenstein, he had ventured into the sport in 2004, when he was knocked out by former UFC fighter James Zikic. In kickboxing, however, the Turk's record is worthy of respect: he has 83 wins, 12 losses and one fight without result.
training partner Anderson Silva, Rountree became known for having knocked out 'Spider' during a sparring session. Finalist of TUF 23, he has four fights in the UFC, with a 50% success rate. His most recent performance was in July this year, when he knocked out Paul Craig at UFC Scotland. In total, there are six triumphs and two setbacks in the cartel.
This was the fifth duel announced for the UFC 219 card. Previously, four fights were already confirmed: Dominick Cruz x Jimmie rivera, Carlos Condit x Neil Magny, Cynthia calvillo x Carla esparza e Louis Smolka x Matheus Nicolau.
