Brazil gained another representative on the UFC Fresno card, which will take place on December 9th, in the United States. This is the rooster from Pará Iuri Marajó, who faces the Mexican Alejandro Perez, in a duel valid for the rooster category (up to 61kg). The information was given first-hand on the 'Combate' channel website.

In Ultimate since 2011, Marajó, who previously worked as a featherweight, had 15 fights in the organization, totaling nine wins, five losses and one unsuccessful fight. He comes from a setback by submission in front of brian kelleher at UFC 212, in June this year, having broken a streak of two good results against Brad pickett and Luka Sanders, both by submission.
A participant in TUF Latino América 1, Perez has six fights in the organization, with four wins, one defeat and one draw. His last performance was in August this year, when he beat Andre Soukhamthath by split decision in the UFC Mexico.
In addition to Marajó, the UFC Fresno card, which will be led by the featherweight fight between Cub swanson e Brian ortega, there are two more Brazilians confirmed. The middleweight Antônio Braga Neto, away from MMA for over four years, returns against Trevin giles, While Davi ramos fights lightweight against Chris Gruetzemacher.
