The return of Ultimate to Brazil has been gaining more attention from the event organizers every day. After tickets for UFC Rio sold out in less than two hours, the promotion's president, Dana White, once again stated the show's interest in the national market.
“We are working to bring the UFC to all cities in Brazil. This event is also important for Latin America as a whole. We are planning to reach Mexico and Brazil is the first step in this process”, explained the top hat, who made a point of valuing the Brazilian public's acceptance of the UFC.
“Each market is different. We had different situations from those experienced in the USA, Europe and even in England, because the people are different, the rulers are different and the culture is different. You learn new things every day when you arrive in another country to do business. It was much easier to get to Brazil. It's the country where it all started. Brazil has a deep-rooted struggle.”
The UFC president also spoke about what the Brazilian fans who will be present at the arena can expect: “I'm sure the energy will be insane. The main fight is going to be awesome. Anderson fighting for his legacy, Okami for respect. Not to mention Shogun and Forrest, who have everything to be electrifying”, guaranteed an excited Dana.
