“I'm going to give Cyborg a round of applause, because it would look like she would be bullying if she agreed to face Ronda. It would be ridiculous. It's very stupid to even think about it. I can't believe Edmond suggested something so stupid! (…) I think Edmond just wants one more check to try to pay off his bankruptcy problems,” he declared in an interview with the radio program 'MMA Tonight'.

Miesha has already had a long rivalry with Ronda, having faced the blonde on two occasions, losing by submission on both occasions. However, although she doesn't have a good relationship with her rival, Tate guarantees that she wouldn't like to see her being beaten by Cyborg.

“Poor Ronda. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but I wouldn't want to see her get murdered by Cyborg at this point in her career. This sport is not that. It's about scheduling competitive fights and I don't think it's fair to ask for something like that. If you take care of your athlete, why would you do that?” she concluded.
