Has the Carlos Condit asking for a fight, and I'm ready to fight him. If they want to close this fight, I'm ready for anyone”, he declared, in an interview with the 'Combate' channel website.

After engaging in four fights in the space of eight months, Vicente admits that he 'pushed his weight'. Without IfAccording to him, the time without fighting in 2017 was beneficial for improving his game, especially in terms of striking.

“It was partly my choice because I did a lot of fighting on top of another, my body was feeling it, it was pretty worn out because of the weight cuts. And I also stopped to evolve technically and change my game. (…) We end up learning from defeats. Now I have a greater volume of strikes, especially a greater variation, I was very much in the game of going forward, always the same, now I cut some angles and my ground is sharper”, guaranteed Luque, who revealed that he asked to fight in the card UFC Sao Paulo, in October, or in New York, at UFC 217, in November.
