The former champion Luke Rockhold returned to Ultimate with victory after more than a year away from the Octagon. At UFC Pittsburgh last Saturday (16), the American defeated David Branch in the main fight and avoided mentioning the name of his arch-rival and current owner of the middleweight belt Michael Bisping in the interview after the triumph. The Englishman, of course, responded to Rockhold's veiled provocation, who asked him to Georges St Pierre giving up facing the “Count”, without directly mentioning the enemy.

Through his official Twitter, Bisping mocked the fact that Rockhold had not mentioned his name and invited him, in a joking tone, for an interview on his podcast, “Believe You Me”.

“This b… doesn’t even want to say my name! Let's go, Luke Rockhold, don't be bitter! (By the way) Big win, Luke, want to come on my podcast on Monday to discuss your near future? (laughs)”, joked the Englishman.

After overcoming Rockhold at UFC 199 with a surprising first-round knockout, Bisping defended his title with a balanced decision against Dan Henderson at UFC 204, but hasn't fought since. He is marked to face Georges St Pierre in the main fight of UFC 217, in New York, on November 4th. The event promises to be the biggest of the year in Ultimate and will feature two more title fights, in the bantamweight and women's strawweight divisions.
