A security guard who worked the press conference before UFC 202 is suing Conor McGregor, with allegations of having been hit by the lightweight champion with a bottle during the confusion that became known as the “bottle war”, between the Irishman and his then opponent and rival Nate diaz.

At the time, McGregor was late for the conference and, as soon as he arrived, Diaz left the interview table, and the two began exchanging insults. The argument turned into a fight when the two started throwing bottles and cans at each other.

Now, as revealed by the North American website “The Blast”, William Pegg has sued the Ultimate champion, asking for US$95 in medical expenses and moral damages to treat a shoulder injury, which would have been caused by Conor McGregor. He claims that because McGregor earned $15 million for his victory over Diaz, and hit him 166 times during the five rounds, then Pegg divided the $15 million by 166, arriving at a value of $90, which had $ 5 thousand added for hospital expenses.

Remembering that both the Irish and Nate diaz they were forced to pay heavy fines to the Nevada Athletic Commission for what happened. Initially, McGregor's fine was going to be US$150, but it was reduced to US$25.
