McMann says she is prepared if she needs to replace Amanda

The last time he had a fight scheduled against Valentina Shevchenko, the Brazilian Amanda nunes he had to leave the scene on the day of UFC 213 due to a serious sinus attack. And the North American Sara McMann declared that she informed Ultimate members that she will be ready to replace the champion, if she suffers something like this on the day of UFC 215 this Saturday (9).

McMann is already scheduled for the event and faces the Brazilian promise Ketlen Scallop. However, the Olympic wrestling medalist stated that she would like to replace the Lioness in an emergency.

“I immediately accept a fight, in case there is a last minute cancellation, like last time. I've even called Sean Shelby (UFC matchmaker) to let him know my intentions. I'm already training for a fight anyway. I've been involved in big fights. I'm ready for it. If they need me, they know where to find me”, declared the American, in an interview with the MMA Fighting website.

Interestingly, McMann has already faced Amanda nunes in the past and was submitted by the Brazilian in the first round of the fight valid for UFC Nashville August 2015. The North American has also faced Ronda Rousey at UFC 170 for the bantamweight title and was knocked out, again in the opening round with knees to the stomach.
