In an interview with Joe Rogan's podcast, official UFC commentator, Garbrandt and Urijah faber, former WEC champion and leader of Team Alpha Male, revealed that Dillashaw is responsible for the hiatus in the career of Chris Holdsworth, a member of the team and one of the most promising bantamweights in the world – he has not fought since 2014 due to problems with concussion, which would have been caused by TJ.

“He always threw punches after the end of the sparring rounds, or when we agreed to just box, he would throw knees, silly things like that (…) But he was very, very competitive – I mean, I'm competitive, I never want to lose. I'm going to fight with everything I have to not get knocked down and win that round. But he was dirty. This is why Chris Holdsworth is out of action. Dillashaw kneed him in the back of the head. And he suffers from concussions. It’s the truth”, revealed Garbrandt, giving more details of what happened next.

“He and TJ were sparring. I remember very well that Duane Ludwig, then coach of Team Alpha Male, always asked Chris to go easy on TJ as he was preparing for a fight. Chris is a killer, man. He's f**king with TJ and I think he managed to submit Dillashaw. Then TJ got up and kneed him in the back of the head when he was on the ground,” commented Garbrandt, supported by Faber.
