The Brazilian Thiago Silva he already has a new opponent for UFC-84. Originally cast to face Rashad evans, in a duel of undefeated men, on May 24th, in Las Vegas, the black belt had his opponent changed, as the American will replace the injured Mauricio Shogun, at UFC-85, where he will face Chuck Liddell, in June.
Now, Thiago will face the fighter from Ceará, based in Europe, Antonio Mendes who has a record of 14 wins and 2 losses. Mendes, has 9 consecutive victories in his career and will make his UFC debut.
