After being knocked out in the 10th round of his superfight against Floyd Mayweather, the UFC lightweight champion, Conor McGregor, received support from the MMA community and fighters and boxing experts, being praised for his performance in his professional debut in the noble art. His biggest rival in Ultimate, however, was not at all satisfied. Nate diaz he criticized the Irishman's performance and even complained about the UFC, which was “promoting too much” a defeat.

Through his social networks, the UFC lightweight reposted a photo of McGregor with a phrase he likes to say: 'I never lose. Either I win or I learn.” Diaz said that he got tired soon, as he did when he lost to him, and that there was no type of “learning” in his rival's duel against Mayweather.

“He punched a lot, until he got tired. That's how he lost in the UFC too. There was no type of learning. They are promoting him beyond measure. Stop sucking up to McGregor. The thing is: Bruce Lee would never have lost like that. He was a real ninja, f…”, he complained Nate diaz.

The North American's most recent provocation may have been motivated by the likelihood of the two facing each other soon. Nate had already warned, in August of last year, that he would not return to the UFC if it wasn't to face Conor McGregor – the two fought twice, with one victory each. A trilogy was being negotiated and Diaz may have used the provocation to try to convince his rival to accept a third fight between the two.
