Holm admits interest in a duel with Cyborg for the UFC title

Featherweight champion Chris Cyborg has been challenging Holly holm since winning the belt, at UF 214 in July this year. After disdaining the North American's silence, the Brazilian finally heard what she wanted: Holm is open to facing her. The former owner of the Ultimate bantamweight belt assured that she would like to test herself against Cyborg, but declared that the UFC has not yet offered her that fight.

In an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting, Holm says that she has been analyzing the possibility of facing the Brazilian, possibly at UFC 219 at the end of the year, but declared that Cyborg's challenges were only through social media, as she did not hear nothing from her team about a request from the current champion.

“We are waiting to see if this is presented or not. That's something that obviously we say we're open to doing. Let's see if it happens... I know she's been saying that she's challenging me and everything. But that’s social media and a lot of that I don’t really get into,” Holm commented, admitting that a “superfight” with Cyborg for the featherweight title makes sense.
