the giants Alexander Volkov e Stefan struve were rewarded for the aggressive duel in the main fight of UFC Rotterdam, held this Saturday (02) in the Netherlands. Both received the sum of U$50 (around R$157) for the 'Fight of the Night' award, won by technical knockout by the Russian, who remains undefeated in Ultimate.
In addition to Volkov, two more Russian fighters were awarded. Mairbek Taisumov, who delivered a brutal knockout to Brazilian Felipe Silva, and Zabit Magomedsharipov who debuted by submitting Mike Santiago, also pocketed $50 each. Interestingly, all Russian athletes won their respective duels on the card – four in total.
