Holly Holm demands bigger salary to face Cyborg: 'It's the best fight'

“I’m not going to demand details, I don’t want to be the grumpy fighter. She better make weight. But I think the (financial) compensation should be greater, based on the fact that this is the best fight between women we can have. I think we deserve a good reward for that. It has nothing to do with drama, but we need to fight in the right conditions,” she declared, in an interview with the website MMA Junkie.

Although he recognizes Cyborg's qualities, Holm guarantees that the Brazilian is not unbeatable. For her, her style of play can complicate the life of the Curitiba native, who says she is ready to fight.

“I remain open to fighting her, regardless of anything. I believe we all have weaknesses. I can definitely take her out of her comfort zone, take her out of her game. She is definitely not invincible. I'm not going to stay here talking about whether she did well or badly in the last fight. Style makes a difference and all fights are different from each other. I'm ready to fight. (…) For me, this fight is a great possibility. We've talked about this several times before. We talked about an agreed weight, which she didn't want. That was before they opened the new featherweight category. If the fight with Cyborg is offered, I will sign. If not, I’ll fight whoever comes in front of me,” she concluded.

Despite coming off a recent victory against Bethe Correia, Holly holm is not in a good phase. Since she beat Ronda in November 2015, she has lost three of her last four fights. It was completed by Miesha Tate, and surpassed by Valentina Shevchenko e Germaine DeRandamie by decision, the latter valid for the featherweight belt, which is now in Cyborg's possession.
