Biggest rival Conor McGregor in the UFC, Nate diaz believes that the Irishman cannot be considered defeated prematurely in this Saturday's superfight (26) against Floyd Mayweather. The American even says that his enemy has a good chance against the former multiple boxing champion and he wouldn't be surprised if the “Notorious” emerged victorious over “Money”.

Discussing Conor's chances against Floyd, Diaz admits that the favoritism lies entirely with the boxer, but reveals that, based on his experience against McGregor, the Irishman does have a chance of standing up to his compatriot.
“I think he has a great chance against Mayweather. I fought against the biggest names in the boxing world and I was better than many of them. I fought Conor for 25 minutes and I definitely believe he has a chance. Fight and beat the best pound-for-pound boxer of the moment? That's another story, but a fight is a fight and I guess we'll have to watch to see what happens. But I hope it’s a great fight”, commented Diaz in an interview with the “Against All Odds with Cousin Sal” podcast, taking advantage of the opportunity to once again poke fun at the UFC.
“I'm not saying that I'm on the side of MMA or boxing, nor that I'm supporting Conor or Floyd. But I'm not on the UFC's side. Everyone talks about it, all the professional boxers have been talking about the UFC and I think it's better not to say anything more about it”, he said.
