The UFC is not the only organization interested in investing in the superfight between Conor McGregor and Mayweather, which will take place next Saturday (26). The World Boxing Council also joined the duel bandwagon and created a special belt for the winner of the fight. And he didn't skimp on the details of the “money belt”, as Mauricio Sulaiman, president of the WBC, called it.

According to the director himself, the belt is “equipped” with 3.360 diamond stones, 600 sapphire stones, 300 emerald stones, in addition to being made from specially recommended alligator leather from Italy, and decorated with 1.5 kg. of solid gold.
Normally the diamond belt, the official name for the “money belt”, is only created when two historic boxers face each other in a fight that is not valid for any title. However, the magnitude of the event caused the WBC to make an exception, as the duel with Floyd Mayweather will mark the professional debut of Conor McGregor in boxing.
The WBC also admitted that making the belt for the event was a special treat for Floyd Mayweather, who was a five-division World Boxing Council champion.

He won and defended titles in five different categories.
