The Brazilian judo team leaves for Japan next Monday, for the Jigoro Kano Cup, without João Derly and Daniela Polzin. Injured and still recovering, the two judokas were spared from the tournament, which is one of the most traditional in the sport.
The Brazilian judo team will be represented at the event by Charles Chibana (-60kg), Pedro Guedes (-73kg), Tiago Camilo (-81kg), Hugo Pessanha (-90kg), Luciano Correa (-100kg), João Gabriel Schlittler (+ 100kg), Érika Miranda (-52kg), Danielle Zangrando (-57kg), Danielli Yuri (-63kg), Mayra Aguiar (-70kg) and Priscila Marques (+78kg).
