The UFC 217 card, an event that will take place on November 4th, in New York (USA), has gained another Brazilian representative. After confirmation from Paulo Borrachinha, who will face former welterweight champion Johny Henricks, it was the bantamweight's turn Ricardo Carcacinha be cast in the show. He faces the undefeated Canadian Aiemann Zahabi, in a duel valid for the rooster category (up to 61kg).

Hired at the beginning of the year through the reality show 'Looking for a Fight', presented by president Dana White, Carcacinha, 22 years old, debuted in February with a victory over Japanese Michinori Tanaka. In 11 fights as a professional, he has ten wins and only one defeat.
Zahabi, in turn, also debuted in the organization in February this year, interestingly against another Brazilian. He surpassed the TUF Brazil 4 champion Reginaldo Vieira at UFC Halifax. The triumph was the seventh of the Canadian's career, who has a 100% success rate on his record.
Three title fights are confirmed for UFC 217. The Englishman Michael Bisping puts his middleweight belt on the line against Georges St Pierre, who returns to the Octagon after four years inactive, the bantamweight champion cody garbrandt face disaffection TJ Dillashaw and the Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk will attempt his sixth strawweight title defense against Rose namajunas.
