The world of MMA is in mourning again. North American fighter Rondel Clark, 26, passed away this Tuesday (15) after spending three days in hospital after being knocked out in the third round of an amateur fight. The duel took place at the Cage Titans event, last Saturday (12), in Massachusetts (USA).

Through social media, the official profile of the MMA organization did not provide further information about the episode, but offered condolences to Clard's friends and family. The local Athletic Commission has already stated that it will investigate the case.
“The New England MMA community lost one of our own this Tuesday morning: Rondel Da'twaun Clark passed away at Beth Israel Hospital due to complications following his amateur fight on Saturday night. Rondel was a charitable soul throughout his career, known for his tenacity on the mat and in the MMA cage. We at Cage Titans extend our condolences to Clark’s family.”
Rondel Clark only competed in two fights in his amateur career, registering one victory and one defeat. Last July, 37-year-old heavyweight Donshay White also passed away after being knocked out in an amateur fight.
