the card of UFC Norfolk, scheduled for November 11th in the United States, has its main fight already defined. It will be a duel between Anthony Pettis e Dustin poirier, valid for the lightweight category (up to 70kg). The information was given first-hand by the North American website “MMA Fight Night Live”.

Former lightweight champion, Pettis, 30, will have his second fight since returning to the division. His most recent triumph was last July, when he overcame Jim Miller on points at UFC 213. Before, he had been knocked out by Max Holloway in a featherweight title fight last December. In total, 'Showtime' accumulates positive results and five negative results in Ultimate.
Poirier, in turn, is coming off a no-contest fight against former champion Eddie Alvarez at UFC 211, last May. His last victory was in February this year, when he overcame the same Jim Miller. Since moving up to lightweight, there have been four wins, one loss and one no contest. At 28 years old, Diamante, as he is known, has 13 triumphs, four setbacks and one unsuccessful fight in the organization.
Three Brazilians are already confirmed on the card. The medium heavy Rogério Minotouro and Marcel Fortuna, who faces Jared Cannonier e Jake collier, respectively, and the average weight Cezar Mutant, champion of TUF Brazil 1, who faces veteran Nate Marquardt.
