In the final phase of preparation for the superfight against Floyd Mayweather, Conor McGregor showed that he is ready for his boxing debut. This Saturday (12), UFC president Dana White released a video in which the Irishman sent former IBF champion Paulie Malignaggi to the canvas (watch below).
The video is another chapter in McGregor's controversy with Malignaggi. It all started when the Irishman's team released the boxer's photo on the canvas. The North American didn't like it, he claimed that fell due to a push and left the team that helps Conor to face Mayweather. Paulie also revealed that McGregor is the biggest asshole he's ever met.

On Friday night, before Dana White released the video, Conor spoke to journalists at a training session at UFC headquarters in Las Vegas. For the UFC champion, the boxer had his pride hurt when he was knocked down by an MMA fighter and found an excuse to leave training.
“He was taken down, he was holding on to the ropes several times. Several times the ropes kept him upright. We were worried about him. We thought the worst would happen. He certainly suffered a concussion and ran out of here. Paulie came here, did his best and I finished him off. He had his pride hurt and wanted to find a way to get out of here. What better way for him to leave than this (questioning McGregor)”, said Conor.
The superfight
