The UFC 217 card, which will take place on November 4th in New York (USA), is finally starting to take shape. After Michael Bisping reveal that he will defend his middleweight belt against Georges St. Pierre on the date, the event, it seems, already has another title fight scheduled: the strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk will face the challenger Rose namajunas. The information was given on the Combate channel website, but the duel has not yet been made official by Ultimate.

This will be the sixth time Jedrzejczyk has put her legacy on the line. At 29 years old, the Polish woman has been division champion since March 2015, when she knocked out Carla esparza. Since then, he has made five title defenses, including victories over the Brazilians Claudia gadelha, in July 2016, and Jessica Stacker, last May. She is undefeated in MMA, having won the 14 fights she has had, eight of them in Ultimate.
Namajunas, 25 years old, will have the second opportunity to win the strawweight belt, as she already competed for the division's inaugural title in 2014, but was submitted by Carla esparza. Since then, he has had five more fights in Ultimate, recording four wins and just one loss. His most recent triumph was in April this year, when he finished Michelle Waterson.
