Poliana, 28 years old, was close to debuting in the organization in December 2016, when she was scheduled for a fight with Valerie Letourneau, but was forced to leave the duel after getting injured. Without fighting since September 2015, the Brazilian has six fights as a professional, totaling five wins and only one loss, precisely to another compatriot who is part of the UFC's roster of athletes: Cearence Viviane Sucuri.
Gonzalez, two years older, debuted in the UFC in April this year, when she was submitted by Cynthia calvillo at UFC 210. In total, his record has six triumphs and two setbacks.
In addition to Botelho, the carioca Thales leites is another Brazilian confirmed on the card. He faces Brad Tavares, in a duel valid for the middleweight category (up to 84kg).
