Woodley reveals he made peace with Dana White: 'We're on good terms'

Even admitting that there was some shouting during the conversation, Woodley guarantees that he got it right with the UFC president

The novel involving Tyron woodley and Dana White, UFC champion, appears to have had a happy ending. After complain about the boss for having been publicly criticized for his actions against Demian Maia at UFC 214, last Saturday (29), the welterweight champion stated that he reached an agreement with Dana through a telephone conversation. According to the fighter, although the two do not agree on some opinions, the problem between them has been resolved.

“There were some screams here and others there. At the end of the conversation, I felt quite comfortable. It ended positively. Two men on the phone may not agree on everything, but at least we respect each other. I still think he should apologize publicly, but I'm not going to dwell on that. The conversation ended with respect and that was my real intention”, he declared, in an interview with the program 'The MMA Hour'.

Woodley, 35, has a professional record of 18 wins, one draw and three losses. The North American won the category belt by knocking out Robbie Lawler, in July 2016. After two fights against Stephen Thompson, with a draw and a victory, the North American achieved his third title defense against Demian. T-Wood, as he is known, hasn't known what it's like to lose since 2014, when he was surpassed by Rory McDonald in the unanimous decision of the judges. In Ultimate, there are eight positive results, two negative results and one draw.
