Donald Cerrone He doesn't want to rest. Defeated by Robbie Lawler at UFC 214, held last Saturday (29), Cowboy is already thinking about his next challenges inside the octagon. Initially suspended for six months due to an eye injury, the fighter guarantees that everything is fine with his vision and he will be able to return to fight soon.

“I was in the office meeting for the October 7th event (UFC 216), so we'll see. I didn't get knocked out this time, so I'm kind of okay. My eye is free. I received six months of medical suspension, so that’s another reason why I’m here”, he declared, in an interview with the website “MMA Junkie”.
Cerrone, 34 years old, challenged for the lightweight division belt (70 kg) in December 2015, and was run over by the then champion, Rafael dos Anjos. After that, he moved up a category and recorded four victories, against Alex Cowboy, Patrick Côté, Rick Story and Matt Brown, but was knocked out by Jorge Masvida in January of this year, and lost the second in a row after being overcome by Lawler.
