Covington defends Dana and threatens Woodley: ‘I know something serious’

Eighth in the welterweight rankings, Covington guaranteed that he has 'serious trouble' that could ruin Woodley's life

Shortly after Tyron Woodley threatens Dana White, president of the UFC, saying that he would ‘leak some information’ from the company, it was the welterweight champion’s turn to feel pressured. Through social media, the fighter Colby covington, who also operates in the under-77kg division, came to his boss' defense and threatened T-Wood, saying he had some 'secrets' to reveal about Woodley.

“Don’t worry, Chief Dana White, I know some serious dirt on Tyron woodley that would ruin his life,” wrote Covington, who is part of the American Top Team in Florida, the same gym where Woodley does part of his training.

At 29 years old and in 8th place in the welterweight division, Covington has won four consecutive victories, the most recent in June of this year, when he overcame Dong Hyun Kim. In total, there are eight fights in the organization, seven triumphs and just one setback, the only one in his career, against the Brazilian Warlley alves.
