The disaffections of Conor McGregor is transcending the world of fights. Controversial as always, the UFC lightweight champion got involved in an argument with basketball player Draymond Green, from the Golden State Warriors team, current NBA champions. After appearing wearing Warriors' number 23 shirt, exactly Green's number, the Irishman was provoked by the North American.

“We’re with Floyd, man, not you. Take off that shirt,” wrote the basketball player.

Wasting no time, McGregor countered Green's comment. According to the fighter, the shirt was not a tribute to Draymond, but rather a reference to CJ Watson, former number 23 on the team, who had a romance with Mayweather's ex-girlfriend, Josie Harris.

“This is from CJ Watson, friend. I have no idea who you are. No disrespect kid, keep moving and stay in school. Now, ask yourself why I'm wearing a CJ shirt when I don't know anything or don't give a shit about basketball. I throw heads to the ground, not balls. This isn’t a game, boy,” McGregor responded.

Conor's response seems to have angered Green, who attacked the Irishman again, even recalling McGregor's defeat to Nate diaz.

“No one will wear that shirt anymore when I’m done, clown! Gold medalist, NBA champion, DPOY (best defensive player of the year), etc! Stop this! Nate diaz beat you in your ring! Money May will destroy you! Take off that Warriors shirt, you're just an internet troll and we're not supporting you. Go train”, concluded the basketball player.
