The rivalry between Yoel romero e Michael Bisping it is far from having an end. After posting a video in which he burned the image of the current UFC middleweight champion, the Cuban made another video to provoke his rival. Appearing quite nervous, the 'Soldier of God' fired several criticisms at the Englishman, threatened him and even stepped on the flag of the United Kingdom.

“You said you would come to Cuba, but you are not! If you want, I'll go to London, Manchester, I'll go wherever you want. I want to see your face in the octagon. I see you, man. Where are you? I want you here in Cuba. You said you would come. But you don't come. You are afraid of me. F*** you! (…) You need to respect my country. This is Cuba, man! You need to respect these people. Hey, Dana, give me this damn boy. You need to respect Cuba. This is my f***ing country. I see you wherever you choose to fight me”, said the Cuban.
Despite the trials, Romero and Bisping should not have their paths crossed in the sequel. This is because Yoel was defeated by Robert whittaker at UFC 213 and lost his chance to win the interim middleweight belt and, consequently, guarantee the opportunity to face the current champion.
