The Brazilian Mauricio Shogun Rua, suffered a new injury to his left knee, the same one he had operated on after his defeat to Forrest griffin, at the end of last year. and will have to undergo a new surgical procedure, postponing his return to the octagon, scheduled for June 5th, when he would have the main fight of the event against Chuck Liddell.
The surgery has not yet been scheduled, but should take place in the next few days. UFC management is looking for a new opponent for the Iceman.
