Floyd Mayweather Sr. is a father and one of his son's head coaches, who faces the Irishman Conor McGregor in a boxing superfight on August 26th. And, after the first leg of the event's publicity tour, Floyd Sr. stole the spotlight by interrupting the UFC champion's press conference to argue with him.

Upon noticing the coach's presence at his press conference, McGregor immediately provoked his opponent's father, saying that his son was very greedy, had a fragile body and would be beaten when the two fought. Floyd Sr. responded by saying that Conor would regret it.
“Your head is fragile and small. You'll regret it, son. I didn’t say anything to you, what kind of things did I say to you, son?” asked Floyd Sr., clearly irritated.
“Your son is very young, yes. He is fragile. Floyd made a huge mistake fighting me. He became very greedy. He could have a perfect 49-0 record. You should have left your son retired. It’s your fault,” said McGregor, laughing.
Afterwards, Floyd Sr. got angry and compared his son's old opponents to Conor, saying that they were all better than him at boxing.
“You already lost by submission. You've already given up. Every fighter Floyd Jr. faced would finish you off,” Floyd Sr. exclaimed.
